I was recently reminded of a dream I've had since I was about 4years old. It used to scare me to death. It was about a girl from a long time ago.
Thanks Kaaren for helping me through that. I've fallen in love with that girl. She is very precious to me.
But since that session, I've seen reminders everywhere to be true to that girl.
This song reminds me every time.
Oh and I loved the movie too! ;)

I got cancer. The Universe slapped me on the head and said, "hey studip! What you're doing is obviously not working here"! Thanks Uni!

I'm open! I officially opened on October 15th.

From August to now has been an amazing journey. From not knowing what I was going to do with my massage training to opening a massage office has been a wild ride.

I stopped at the community center in Elburn to pick up my daughter from an art class at the end of July. Noticing that there was a office for rent sign. We took a look at the office, a chiropractor used to be in the office. But there was just something I couldn't put my finger on.
So the office manager showed us another office that became available upstairs right next door to the Art Room where my daughter is still taking art lessons.
This office used to be a music school. My son and daughter used to take music lessons here many years ago.
It needed a LOT of rennovations for it to become what I could see in my minds eye that it could become. I needed to hire a contractor to make it what I wanted.

The people I ended up hiring, Mike, used to be the mayor of Elburn and is now a fire fighter and his brother, John, is a retired Kane County police officer.
The building used to be a school and has since become the Elburn Community Center and is a non profit organization. This office that I'm in used to be Mike's 6th grade classroom! Yes it is a very small community. So this room has a lot of memories for him.

The office needed a LOT of work done. It had 6 small rooms for music lessons and I had to make the 6 rooms into 3 rooms. So removing walls and doors and redoing the ceiling and all kinds of changes had to be made.




There are still a few miner details that need to be done. I have 2 windows that need to be replaced and then I can touch up the paint and my husband is installing a couple of outlets for me, and moving the phone jack. Other than that, I'm open!!!!






The purple room is not done yet because that room has one of the windows that still need to be replaced.

The green room I used to swedish, deep tissue and energy work like Reiki and Cranial Sacral work.
The Blue room is use for Hot Stone. At least for now.

Thank you Universe for making this happen! It all fell right into place! What an awesome journey! Now I'm working with and meeting the most awesome people.
